Heat fans get in vicious brawl — distracting Tyler Herro

A brawl in the stands at Caseya Center caught the attention of Tyler Herro, who was conducting a postgame interview, on Tuesday night.

The Heat star appeared strong and focused during his interview with the Bally Sports Sun, before finishing his answer and apologizing for being distracted.

“I just keep thinking about what I can do to get ready for the season,” Herro said. “Sorry, I was distracted by the fight above. This is crazy.”

The 24-year-old seemed to be having quite a bit of fun with the commotion, with the interviewer chiming in, “I hope we break up here soon,” before sending Herro back to the locker room.

Even after Hero left, he remained involved in the fight.

A video of the scuffle posted on social media clearly explains why Herro was so invested in what was happening in the stands.

It showed a vicious scrap that lasted at least 30 seconds before security and police approached the scene to calm the situation.

Three men were involved in a scuffle, with fists seen flying between two men as if they were attacking the third. The three grapple in a row as punches are thrown.

A woman was also seen trying to get into the fight, and bystanders could be seen yelling for someone to intervene and stop it.

It is unclear what started the fight.

The Heat defeated the Spurs 120-117 in Tuesday night's preseason tilt and will open the season at home next Wednesday against the in-state rival Magic.

The Heat enter the season with the same mainstay as last year: Herro, Jimmy Butler, and Bam Adebayo.
