Comedian Andrew Schultz and co-host of the podcast “Flagrant” spoke Wednesday about how former President Trump won over his audience in a recent interview on his show.
During an Oct. 9 interview on “Flagrant,” Mr. Trump has shown irreverence, including when he boasted of his “genius” ability to “weave” (what critics call rambling) during a campaign rally speech. He brought the host into stitches many times with his humorous humor. .
A week later, Schultz declared at the beginning of the latest episode, “Obviously we have to react to the Trump interview. My response is, Trump is winning by a landslide. No more. Victory is not near. Is that your energy?” Do you feel it? “
“You're a prisoner of the moment,” chided one of the co-hosts.

“You know me,” Schultz joked amidst laughter.
Co-host Mark Gagnon pointed out a clear difference in Schultz's opinions before and after his interview with President Trump.
“Before Trump, it was like, 'Oh, it could go either way, it's very close,'” Gagnon said.
“No, before he came on the scene, I was like, 'He doesn't have a chance,'” Schultz said, adding that if President Trump was going to rely on a “flag grant,” he'd probably be hopeless. I joked that it must have been. “And after the interview, there was definitely a reaction.”
“And I got 20 to 25 text messages and I was like, 'This guy is winning,'” Gagnon recalled.

“Listen, it wasn't 20 to 25 text messages. Do you know what those were?” Schultz asked. “It was the stares in the street,” he said, referring to the positive reactions he saw in public after his interview with President Trump.
The podcast co-hosts went on to discuss how they think some of the hype surrounding Vice President Kamala Harris has died down recently, with Gagnon saying part of the reason is because “President Trump is He suggested that this may be due to the fact that he is acting like a large-scale media blitz, but he is being who he is, and then what happens next.'' Kamala doesn't have a great media career, and to be honest, I don't think the “60 Minutes'' thing went well, and I don't think the “Call Her Daddy'' thing went well either. I think it went well. ”
