Flailing aides prove unable to save Kamala Harris from absolute ‘TRAIN WRECK’ Bret Baier interview

Kamala Harris has so far kept her unscripted interactions with the fourth royal family to a minimum. In the few instances in which Ms. Harris has actually given interviews as a presidential candidate, most have been with friendly voices in sympathetic networks. CBS News and others had apparently heavily edited the footage to make her seem more consistent.

Harris sat down with Fox News' Bret Baier on Wednesday. 30 minute interview The aim is to compensate for the loss of voters that the Democratic Party has long alienated and expand its support.

It didn't work.

In fact, it went so wrong that Harris' staff apparently retracted the issue and the Trump team later posted the interview in full.
campaign advertisement.

Baier told a panel discussion with her colleagues after the sit-in that Harris arrived nearly 20 minutes late and that her team was desperately trying to get an interview so the Democratic candidate wouldn't have to dodge additional questions. He revealed that he tried to keep it short.

“Four people are waving their hands and saying, 'This has to stop!'”
said Buyer. “I had to get off there at the end.”

Roughly 26 minutes into the interview, Mr. Baier mentioned Harris' vacillating aides, telling Ms. Harris, “Mrs. Vice President, they're wrapping me up very hard here. Say what you want to say about Donald Trump.” “I hope you say that,” he is seen saying. .. We invited you here because there are so many things people want to know about you and your policies. ”

Harris appeared exhausted throughout the interview, but there were several moments in particular that may have prompted aides to ask for an early exit.

'What are you talking about? '

“More than 70% of people say this” [pollsters] This country is on the wrong path,'' Baier managed to say in one of Harris' filibusters.
National survey of new market law schools. “If it's on the wrong trajectory, that trajectory will continue for three and a half years when you were vice president and President Biden was president. That's what they're saying — they If you're going to change direction, why would they say that?'' You've been in office for three and a half years? ”

“And Donald Trump is running for president,” Harris said.

“But, Madam Vice President, you are the person for the job,” Baier responded.

“Come on,” Harris said with a smile. “Now, you and I both know what I'm talking about. You and I both know what I'm talking about.”

Mr. Baier was genuinely confused as to the meaning of Harris' words and replied, “Actually, no. What do you mean?”

Ostensibly unsure of herself, Harris launched a new attack on President Donald Trump, saying, “For the last 10 years, people have been like this — but listen, for the last 10 years, it's been… It's clear to me and certainly to the Republicans who are on stage with me.” , former Chief of Staff to the President Donald Trump, former Secretary of Defense, National Security Advisor, Vice President, one, he is unfit for service, he is unstable, he is dangerous, and he is dangerous to the people. is tired of people who claim to be leaders and spend their full time degrading themselves and harboring personal grievances. ”

When asked to estimate how many illegal aliens have snuck into this country during his time as America's border czar, Harris proved unable or at least unwilling to answer. Instead, she threw another word salad.

“I'm glad you brought up immigration, and I agree with you,” Harris said. “Immigration is a topic that people obviously want to discuss.” “And you know what I'll say.”

“Do you think it's one million or three million?” Mr. Byer said.

According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection data, more than 2 million illegal aliens have entered the country so far in 2024.

“Brett, let's get straight to the point. The bottom line is that our immigration system is broken and needs to be fixed,” Harris said.

In between breaks, Baier noted that the Biden-Harris administration has dismantled Trump-era policies that secure the border and prevent the release of illegal immigrants into the United States.

Harris responded by listing a number of unrelated initiatives that she and Biden pushed through during their time in office, and suggested they also pushed for “legislation to fix our immigration system.”

Baier said he wasn't buying what Harris was touting, noting that the vice president was referring to the U.S. Citizenship Act of 2021. The bills failed despite a trifecta of federal Democratic victories, and both would have provided a path to citizenship for tens of millions of people. The increase in the number of illegal immigrants and the weakening of various immigration policies.

When the interviewer began to emphasize the nature of the bill, Harris interrupted and resumed following the question.

“She couldn't give a clear answer to a single question because she didn't have the answer.”

In another example that may have worried Harris' aides, the vice president has demonstrated a newfound ability to diagnose Trump's instability from afar and a longstanding failure to recognize Biden's deterioration up close. This proved difficult to reconcile.

Baier said, noting that Harris had previously called Trump “misguided,” “unstable,” “unwell,” and “mentally unstable,” adding, “You have many He told the interviewer, “Joe Biden is on his game.'' [he] “He ran around in circles on his cane.''When did you first notice that President Biden's mental capacity seemed to be declining?''

Despite Harris replacing Biden as the Democratic nominee due to the widely perceived deterioration of the president, Harris suggested to Baier that there was actually nothing wrong with her, saying, “I don't like Joe. “I've watched Biden from the Oval Office to the Situation Room, and he is.” He has the judgment and the experimentation and the experience to do exactly what he did in making very important decisions on behalf of the American people. ”

“We've been seeing each other at least once a week for three and a half years. Did you have any concerns?” Bayer asked.

Harris refused to answer and instead attacked Trump.

President Trump gave an interview to Truth Social,
write“She suffers from a severe and irreversible condition called Trump Derangement Syndrome. So bad, in fact, that the United States, with the greatest economy in history, the strongest border in history, and the unanimous consent of the U.S. Border Patrol, I got your support!”

Senator J.D. Vance (R-Ohio)
tweeted“To my Democratic friends: Maybe we should consider swapping Kamala Harris for Joe Biden.”

“Kamala Harris' interview with Bret Baier was a train wreck.”
I wrote Trump campaign spokeswoman Caroline Levitt. “Kamala was angry, defensive, and once again abdicated her responsibility for the problems facing the American people. She couldn't answer a single question unequivocally because she doesn't have an answer.”

Brian Fallon, a top aide to the Harris campaign, said:
said NPR said, “We feel like we definitely accomplished what we set out to do in the sense that we were able to reach an audience that probably didn't know what she had been advocating for on the trail.” Ta.
