‘I don’t think he’s had a girlfriend yet’

Former President Donald Trump said Thursday that he does not believe his youngest son, Barron, “still has a girlfriend.”

Asked by businessman and podcast host Patrick Bett-David whether the New York University freshman was “doing well with the women at school,” the former president replied, “I don't know if he's still there.” I don't know,” he said.

Trump, 78, added: “I don't think he has a girlfriend yet.”

Bette David seems surprised that her 18-year-old boyfriend hasn't started a relationship yet.

“Really? He's a cool guy.” “PBD Podcast” said the host.

“He's a handsome guy,” Trump said of his 6-foot-7 son.

The Republican presidential candidate pointed out that there is more to Barron than her good looks.

“He's very, very smart. He's a good student… He goes to a great school and gets very good grades,” President Trump said. “And he's a very nice guy.”

“He's someone who doesn't mind being alone, but gets along well with people,” the 45th president added.

Barron, who has largely been kept out of public view, is the youngest of Trump's five children.

Barron's mother, former first lady Melania Trump, said earlier this month that Barron was “doing well” at New York University, where he began classes this fall.

“He loves his classes and his professors,” Melania said during an appearance on Fox News. “He is doing well, thriving and enjoying being in New York City again.”

The former president previously noted that Barron takes classes at New York University's Stern School of Business in Greenwich Village.
