Ricky Pearsall was shot two months ago and now he's trying to play football again.
The San Francisco 49ers' rookie wide receiver has yet to make his NFL debut, which was postponed after being involved in a shooting incident during training camp, but is scheduled to play this Sunday.

Pearsall was shot in the chest by a robber in San Francisco in late August, police said.
Pearsall was walking alone in San Francisco's Union Square that afternoon when a 17-year-old armed boy tried to rob him of his luxury watch, and during a struggle over the watch, Pearsall was shot hard in the chest.
The University of Florida product was the 49ers' first-round pick (31st overall) in June's NFL Draft.

The 6-foot-1 Arizona native started his college career at Arizona State before transferring to Florida and joining the Gators in 2022 and 2023.
Pearsall had 65 catches for 965 yards and four receiving touchdowns as a senior.
He also gained 62 yards on three carries and scored two touchdowns.
