Former President Trump will take an unusual hiatus from campaigning in the battleground state of Pennsylvania this weekend.
The Republican presidential candidate will be working behind the counter at a McDonald's restaurant in the Philadelphia area, handling the fries.
Asked about weekend plans to staff fast-food fried stations, President Trump said in a lengthy interview on “Fox & Friends” on Friday, “A friend of mine owns a McDonald's somewhere. “There is,” he said.
“Oh, I'll go. I'll do everything.”

In contrast to Trump's wealthy upbringing, Harris, who is campaigning to succeed President Biden in the White House, has a middle-class upbringing and a McDonald's restaurant during her undergraduate studies in the 1980s. The spotlight is on what he worked for.

“I have” [worked at McDonald’s]Harris said in an interview on MSNBC last month.
“One of the reasons I talk about working at McDonald's is because there are people working at McDonald's in our country who are trying to support their families,” she added. “I worked there as a student.
“I think part of the difference between me and my opponent includes our perspective on the needs of the American people and our responsibility to meet those needs.”

“Do you think she's never worked at McDonald's?” co-host Brian Kilmeade asked.
“We know she didn't do that. We looked into that,” Trump said. “They said she never worked here.”
