Jets guard Xavier Newman suffered a gruesome injury in the third quarter when he fell awkwardly along the sideline.
After Aaron Rodgers' pass was intercepted by the Steelers, he stumbled backwards, landed the wrong way while trying to regain his balance, and collapsed to the ground in extreme pain.
The Jets' training staff observed Newman on the field, and he was then carried off the field in Pittsburgh.
He was ruled out due to a neck injury.
Newman was playing in place of injured Aliyah Berra-Tucker.
NBC's Melissa Stark reported on the air that Newman had movement in his limbs and was taken to the hospital.
Jake Hanson entered the game in Newman's place.
