The Harris campaign raised nearly $222 million last month, more than three times the amount raised by the Trump campaign in September, according to financial disclosure documents obtained Sunday.

Nevertheless, the Trump campaign has benefited from a campaign push from SpaceX CEO Elon Musk and his Make America Great Again super PAC.

Musk's America PAC pays $47 a day to people who refer registered voters in battleground states to sign petitions supporting the First and Second Amendments.

The billionaire announced Saturday at City Hall in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, that he would give away $1 million “randomly to people who sign a petition every day from now until the election.”

The report added that Harris' campaign raised $221.8 million, spent $269.8 million, and ended up with $187.5 million on hand.

As for the Trump campaign, it raised $62.7 million, spent $77.6 million, and ended up with $119.7 million in cash on hand.
