Eminem to Introduce Obama at Kamala Harris Rally in Detroit

The last time Eminem was culturally relevant was when Barack Obama was president, so it's perhaps fitting that the 52-year-old rapper will introduce Obama at the Kamala Harris rally in Detroit on Tuesday. Probably.

A Democratic Party official with knowledge of event planning, who declined to be named, told CNN that Eminem is not scheduled to perform and that Obama will be welcomed on stage in his place.

Eminem plans to share his thoughts on presidential election, CNN reported.

Eminem is the latest to announce support on behalf of Kamala Harris, who goes all-in on celebrity support in the final days of the election cycle, after vowing not to repeat Hillary Clinton's celebrity-packed campaign debacle in 2016. Become a celebrity.

But polls show former President Donald Trump gaining support in battleground states, and Kamala Harris' campaign is deploying stars across the country to boost support.

As Breitbart News reported, recent polls show Trump and Harris in a close race in Eminem's home state of Michigan.

In recent years, Eminem has sought to regain relevance by publicly mocking former President Donald Trump and embracing the social causes of the radical left. He called President Trump a “bitch” and even took a knee during the 2022 Super Bowl halftime performance.

He also performed at the 2020 Academy Awards, leaving the celebrity audience perplexed.

As the election cycle draws to a close, celebrities are campaigning hard in Kamala Harris' battleground states.

Her campaigns have recently featured Lizzo, Kerry Washington, Jennifer Garner and pop star Usher.
