A suspected drunk driver drove toward Vice President Kamala Harris' motorcade on an interstate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The incident happened Monday around 8:20 p.m. on Interstate 94 near the Market Interchange, according to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office. fox 6.

He failed several field sobriety tests and had an open beer can in his vehicle, according to the arrest report.
The man remained in jail without bail Tuesday night.

The U.S. Secret Service said it was aware of the incident and appreciated the response of lawmakers.
“We are aware of an incident involving a driver who was traveling the wrong way on the highway while the Vice President was in a motorcade. The Milwaukee Sheriff's Office stopped the driver and removed the driver,” the agency said in a statement. “We are grateful for the response of the person who was taken into custody for drunk driving,” Secret Service spokesman Joe Routh told WISN.
