Trump reacts to Harris comparing him to Hitler

Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday pushed back against Vice President Harris' comments comparing the Republican presidential candidate to Adolf Hitler, referring to remarks by a former Marine general who served in the Trump administration.

At a news conference Wednesday at the Vice President's Office in Washington, Harris amplified claims made by former Trump chief of staff John Kelly, who said the president wanted a “Hitler general.”

Harris said her Republican opponent is “unfettered” and wants “unchecked power.”

“It is clear from John Kerry's words that Donald Trump is, as I quote, someone who 'definitely fits the general definition of a fascist' and, in fact, he will be a dictator from day one. He swore that he would use the military as his own militia to exact a personal and political vendetta,'' Harris said.

Harris expanded on her comments on social media on Wednesday, comparing Trump to Hitler.

“Donald Trump wants unchecked power. Like Adolf Hitler, he wants an army loyal to him, not the Constitution,” Harris tweeted Wednesday. “He's vacillating, he's unstable, and even if he's given a second term, no one will stop him from pursuing his worst impulses.”

While President Trump responded to Harris' remarks, he also attacked Kelly's reputation.

“Thank you for your support for a complete pervert named John Kerry who made up a story out of pure Trump Derangement Syndrome hatred! This man has two natures and they don't work together. He's tough and stupid. ,” Trump wrote. “The problem is that over time he turned into Jell-O, so his toughness turned into weakness! The soldiers' story was a lie, as were many other stories he told. is.

“We shouldn't waste time with him, but we always feel we need to fight back in pursuit of the truth,” he added. “John Kerry is a vile human being and a bad general. I no longer seek his advice in the White House and tell him to move on! His wife once told me at Camp David, John. has great respect for you, and when he leaves the base, military man, he will only have good things to say about you, I said, thank you!”
