GOP Rep. Moore Arrives at Polling Precinct in Garbage Truck — ‘Today Is the True Day to Take Out the Trash’

Rep. Barry Moore (R-Ala.) drove by to remind President Joe Biden of his criticism of his predecessor, former President Donald Trump's supporters, calling them “trash.” He showed up at a polling place in Enterprise, Alabama, to vote. Garbage truck.

Moore, who has been in the waste removal business for more than 20 years, told Radio FM Talk 106.5 in Mobile, Alabama, that the gesture was also a reminder that today is an opportunity to remove trash in Washington, D.C. Ta.

“The company I founded is actually a garbage company,” he said. “So after seeing President Biden's recent comments, I thought why not just remind everyone that today is real trash day and invite everyone to come and join us in Washington, D.C. People we hate with all our hearts — we need to send a message that even though we may be thought of as trash, we are still “We the People.” So I'm going to pull up to the garbage truck and vote. It's just a friendly reminder. I thought this was a great opportunity to remind people what Washington DC actually thinks about everyday America. ”

Mr. Moore is the incumbent Republican congressman from Alabama's 2nd Congressional District. However, following court-ordered congressional redistricting, Moore is now running as the Republican candidate for Alabama's 1st Congressional District.
