The Baltimore Ravens answered a big need at the NFL trade deadline, acquiring cornerback Tre'Davious White from the Los Angeles Rams on Tuesday just before 4 p.m.
The Ravens boast the worst pass defense in the NFL, allowing 280.9 yards through the air per game.
Given the team's incredible offensive productivity and 6-3 record, the Ravens added White, a former All-Pro and two-time Pro Bowl corner, to their secondary with hopes of making the playoffs this season.

According to multiple reports, the Rams will acquire a 2026 seventh-round pick and send White and a 2027 seventh-round pick to Baltimore.
Why would someone who was an All-Pro charge such a low price? Now, White has been inactive for the last four games because the Rams gave him permission to talk to other teams about a trade.

The 29-year-old played just four games last season and six in 2022, forcing Buffalo to let its 2017 NFL Draft first-round pick walk before this year. .
The last time White was healthy for a full season, he was named first-team All-Pro in 2019 with 17 passes defended, two forced fumbles, and six total tackles for 58 in 15 games for Buffalo. recorded an interception.
He followed that up with his second straight Pro Bowl campaign in 2020, recording three picks, 11 passes defended and 1.5 sacks for the Bills.
The Rams had hoped White would be healthy and provide a boost in the secondary this season, but he was never a fit. Perhaps in Baltimore, White can find his old ways again.
