Donald Trump or Kamala Harris?

Americans are voting across the country on Tuesday to decide whether former President Donald Trump or Vice President Kamala Harris will be the nation's next commander in chief.

In this fast-paced election, the former Republican president is seeking to return to the office he left four years ago, with the Democratic nominee replacing his party's president without a primary after President Joe Biden withdrew from the race. He will face off against the Vice President. This summer is finally coming to an end.

The seven battleground states that everyone is watching are North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. To win the White House, a candidate needs to win 270 electoral votes. This photo-finished presidential election has been, and continues to be, described as “close” and “close” for weeks by all sides and observers. Who Americans choose as president will have profound implications for the nation, every major issue facing this country, and the world at large.

In addition to the presidency, majorities in both the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives are also at stake. Republicans see a clear path to a Senate majority, while Democrats see a clear path to a House majority. Which party controls one or both could go a long way in energizing the agenda of who wins the White House or tying the hands of the next president, who will be sworn in on Inauguration Day on January 20, 2025. This could have a major impact.
