Religious leaders said Wednesday that they pray that President-elect Donald Trump will “look to God every day for His guidance and wisdom” following his victory over Kamala Harris.
In his victory speech early this morning, President Trump referenced two assassination attempts on him in Pennsylvania and Florida, saying, “Many people have told me that God saved my life for a reason.'' It was given to me.
“The reason was to save our country and make America great again. And now we're going to do that together,” Trump continued. “We will fulfill our mission. The task before us will not be easy, but I will put all the energy, spirit and fight in my soul to the task you have entrusted to me. ”

Former Roman Catholic Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano said in X “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to President Trump and thank the Lord for preventing America and the Western world from falling decisively into the tentacles of the deep state and globalist tyranny.”
