US Olympic gymnastics legend Simone Biles has called on President Joe Biden to “shake things up” in his final weeks as president before President-elect Trump is sworn into office.
Following President-elect Trump's landslide victory in Tuesday's election, Biles criticized X and called on President Biden to take big action for women.
“Mr. Biden, before you go, I want you to stand up, straighten your back, and shake something,” Biles wrote, ending with “Fuck America's women.”
Mr. Biles did not limit his views on the election to Mr. On Instagram, he criticized the voters who chose Trump.
“Supporting a convicted felon over a woman is insane,” the gold medal-winning Olympian captioned the post, adding the message: “Insane!”
Biden awarded Biles the Presidential Medal of Freedom at a 2022 White House ceremony. She didn't make any public political statements during the recent campaign, but she certainly made her feelings known after the fact.
Biles joined other professional athletes, including WNBA's Angel Reese and San Francisco long snapper Tabor Pepper, in issuing a public statement lamenting the Democratic loss.
