Kathy Griffin, who famously took a photo of herself holding President Trump's bloody, severed head, blamed Trump's victory on racism and misogyny.
“I didn’t realize how racist and sexist America still is,” she said.

That's definitely gotten through to me. ” she said in an interview. “And I got to a point where I kind of agreed that maybe it's time for me to leave, and I've had a great life, and I don't think there's a next chapter. ”
Last election cycle, Mr. Griffin was a major setback for Democrats, going so far as to say that a “civil war” would break out if Republicans won the midterms.
“If you don't want a Civil War, vote Democrat in November. If you want a Civil War, vote Republican,” she tweeted in September.
In a subsequent tweet, Griffin responded to Breitbart News reporter Christina Wong, denying the threat of violence.
“You guys. Maga Blue Check is here again. They're always under threat of Civil War, so now they're trying to suggest that I'm under threat of Civil War. You know, that. That's my job,” she added.
In 2020, Griffin also suggested that someone use a syringe on Trump “with air in it” and claimed physical violence against Trump. This is a potentially deadly action.
