Add another arrest to Delonte West's ledger.
The troubled former NBA guard was arrested by Fairfax County police on Nov. 2 on suspicion of trespassing. According to TMZ.
FCPD tells TMZ that a person has submitted video evidence to support complaints that West would not evacuate parts of Huntington, Virginia that are restricted to him.
The day after the warrant was issued, 41-year-old West was arrested near the Huntington subway at approximately 8:48 p.m.
He was held on $1,000 bail and released on November 3, according to TMZ.
West, who played eight seasons with four NBA teams, was charged with a misdemeanor and is due in court in January.
The arrest is the latest in a long history of run-ins with the law for West, who averaged 9.7 points and 3.6 assists per game in the NBA and earned $16 million during his career.
West was arrested again in Virginia in June on suspicion of violating the terms of his release and resisting an officer, and had to be resuscitated after a medical emergency.
He was found unresponsive after fleeing from police who tried to serve him with a warrant.
Narcan was administered for a suspected opioid overdose.
West, who has struggled with substance abuse, mental health issues and bipolar disorder, was charged with resisting arrest.
Later that month, he was captured on video staggering around a parking lot in Arlington, Virginia.
Two years ago, the former St. Joseph's University product was found wandering outside a 7-Eleven and was arrested in 2021 for disorderly intoxication and resisting arrest without violence.
West's troubled days date back to 2016, when photos surfaced of him begging in Washington, D.C., and he appeared in public in Houston wearing a hospital gown.
Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, who helped West enter rehab in September 2020, opened the door to police headquarters in Boynton Beach, Fla., in October 2021 with a can of beer and an open bottle of vodka. He was re-arrested on suspicion of assault. hand
He last played in the NBA for the Mavericks in 2011-12 after stints with the Celtics, Cavaliers and now-defunct Seattle SuperSonics.
West was drafted 24th overall by Boston in 2004.
