Saints’ Chris Olave placed on IR after being carted off with concussion, will see specialist

A disastrous season for the New Orleans Saints is only getting worse.

Perhaps the biggest blow for the Saints came Sunday when Chris Olabe was taken off on a stretcher after taking a hard hit.

The injury placed Olave on injured reserve, which means he will miss at least the team's next four games.

Olave will also meet with an independent concussion specialist to learn more about his history of brain injury. He has been recorded with at least five concussions since 2020, four of which have occurred in the NFL, two of which have occurred this season alone.
