NFL Week 10 picks, best bets

Was the New York Jets' hard-fought home victory over Houston last week a positive catalyst for changing the season?

Only time will tell.

However, if the Jets can get a road win against Arizona this weekend, the possibility of a backdoor playoff spot becomes much easier to digest since the rest of the schedule is so easy.

Let's analyze the Jets vs. Cardinals predictions and NFL contenders for Sunday, November 10th.

Jets vs. Cardinals predictions

(4:25 p.m. ET, CBS)

The Jets had a rough first half of the 2024 regular season, losing six games, four of which were by one point or less.

Considering they are four games behind first place, winning the AFC East is probably out of the question, but no matter how you look at it, the Jets' season isn't over yet.

In fact, Cincinnati has a good chance of clinching a wild card spot, as they dropped one more game on Thursday night, dropping to 4-6 on the season.

Additionally, the Denver Broncos, currently in the final wild-card spot, must face the undefeated Chiefs this week and the formidable Falcons next week.

Despite a tough start to the season, the Jets have two games left until the playoffs. And a recent 21-13 win over the A's could be the start.

Meanwhile, Arizona has won three straight against Chicago, Los Angeles (Chargers), and Miami.

The Cardinals are currently over .500 and a half-game behind Los Angeles (Rams) in the NFC West.

So the stakes are very high in this non-conference matchup.

That's why I'm going to aim for the under in this match.

Last week, we saw an even more motivated and inspired Jets defense, holding a talented Texans offense to just 13 points.

And while the Jets seem to have gotten better on both sides of the ball, they still haven't surpassed the 22 points they scored in their last six games, including the two games with Davante Adams in the lineup.

While the Jets' secondary hasn't quite lived up to its lofty expectations this season, it's still a great unit, boasting the fourth-best Coverage Grade (PFF) in both opposing passing yards per game and opposing completion percentage. is ranked 2nd in.

Sure, James Conner and Kyler Murray will gain a few yards on the ground, but the Jets defense looks more motivated and did a solid job containing Joe Mixon last week.

Sunday should be a low-scoring, grueling game.

Best bet: Under 46.5 (-110, DraftKings)
