The outgoing commander-in-chief, 81, navigates the unstable sands of Rehoboth Beach on Sunday afternoon, nearly a week after Vice President Kamala Harris lost to former President and now President-elect Donald Trump. He was seen losing his balance many times.
At one point, the first lady grabbed Biden's arm to steady him as he struggled through the deep, uneven sand, according to a video taken by CSPAN.

Republican National Committee Social Media Account: “Biden is currently wrestling with sand at his Delaware beach house.” he tweeted. “The beach is winning.”
According to reports, Biden, who was wearing jeans, a dark sweater, a ball cap and sunglasses, yelled something inaudible to reporters, but then heard nothing as he backed into the parking lot. He also did not answer any questions. Press pool report.
Earlier, during a couple beach trip, the Bidens walked along the waterfront, with Jill leading the way, and the president stopping at one point to check his phone.
The two returned to the White House several hours later.
Over the past four years, Biden has faced swirling questions about his mental and physical fitness to serve in the Oval Office, as he has made countless gaffes and appeared confused at times.
When Democrats were still running for president, Trump's dismal performance in a summer debate sparked heightened scrutiny of his aging mental health.
Following the shockingly poor performance and mounting pressure within the party, Biden withdrew his bid for re-election and quickly ousted Harris.
