Greg Olsen shades Aaron Judge’s brutal postseason after Alvin Kamara drop

Aaron Judge's brutal postseason has now become a punchline that transcends the sports world.

Fox announcer Greg Olsen harshly criticized the Yankees' superstar during Sunday's 20-17 come-from-behind victory over the Saints and Falcons, leading to a loss in World Series No. 5 that had a major impact on the Yankees' loss. Judge mentioned the brutal drop to center field in the game. To the Dodgers.

The joke came about when Olsen beat an equally bad drop from New Orleans star running back Alvin Kamara that thwarted a potential touchdown.

“It's like Aaron Judge dropping the ball in the fifth inning of the World Series,” Olsen said. “There is no explanation.”

Judge will have to live with the cruel reality that this terrible October was used against him and he will be the butt of jokes until he changes the narrative about his play in the postseason.

Batting .184 (9 hits in 49 at bats) is a different story, but the normally stocky center fielder was the worst I've ever seen him in Game 5 when he dropped a routine fly ball into center field. I made one of the errors.

The drop helped the Dodgers fight back from a five-run deficit and tie the game in the fateful fifth inning before ultimately winning 7-6.

No one is going to compare Saints' Week 10 win over the Falcons in a game they only watch for fantasy or gambling to a World Series game, but Kamara was supposed to win the game. It was quite shocking to see it drop. Sunday was an easy touchdown.

There was nothing but Green in front of Kamara, who beat the linebacker, but the usually sure-handed receiver simply deflected the ball with his fingertips.

Olsen's commentary was probably influenced by calling games alongside Dodgers announcer Joe Davis, who provided play-by-play during the World Series.

Davis called Kamara's blunder an “unbelievable blunder.”

Unlike the Yankees, the Saints had won interim coach Darren Rizzi's debut and improved to 3 wins and 7 losses, so they could have laughed at Kamara's mistake.
