Ratcliffe to serve as CIA director under Trump

John Ratcliffe, who served as President-elect Trump's chief intelligence adviser during his first term, will become Director of the Central Intelligence Agency when Trump returns to the White House.

Ratcliffe is one of several appointees announced last week who will fill key positions during President Trump's second term.

President Trump said in a statement: “From exposing the fake Russia collusion as a work of the Clinton campaign to exposing the FBI's civil liberties violations in FISA court, John Ratcliffe has always stood for truth and integrity with the American people. He was a warrior.” “When 51 intelligence officials were lying about Hunter Biden's laptop, one John Ratcliffe told the truth to the American people.”
