Robert Griffin III wants end to Trump-supporter hatred: ‘Not how you unite people’

A former NFL quarterback is trying to serve as a peacemaker amid post-election divisions.

Robert Griffin III posted on X last week that “black men support black women” after MSNBC host Joe Scarborough criticized “black men's misogyny.”

“When it comes to black women, please stop blaming and blaming black men for everything under the sun,” the former Baylor star wrote to X.

“Dear America, this is a safe place. Calling any of the 75 million Americans who voted for Donald Trump a bigot is not a way to unite people.” Griffin posted on X. “How do you build a community where Black people, white people, Native Americans, Hispanic people, Asian people, and all people celebrate their unique cultural backgrounds and beliefs without conflict?”
