Anne Arundel County Police say the 22-year-old motorcyclist was driving erratically when another vehicle struck him while he was riding near Maryland Route 10 and the Furnas Branch on Thursday at about 8:20 p.m. He said he noticed that there was one. WBAL-TV reported.

Police said the motorcycle driver had a Maryland concealed handgun permit and remained at the scene, WBAL reported.

Police said Scott David Goose, 51, of Glen Burnie, pulled up next to the motorcycle and screamed, nearly causing the two to collide.

“At one point, he appeared to be forced off the road and then stopped,” Anne Arundel County Police spokesman Justin Mulcahy told the department. “Eventually he had to put the bike aside.”

Police told WBAL that Guse and the motorcyclist stopped on the East Furness branch of Margate Drive, where Guse allegedly lunged at the motorcyclist with a hammer.

The motorcycle driver told police he pulled out a handgun and shot Guse, the department said, adding that fire officials pronounced Guse dead at the scene.

Police said the motorcycle driver had a Maryland concealed handgun permit and remained at the scene, WBAL reported.

Mulcahy said station officials are trying to piece together the situation. Police told WBAL the incident is being investigated as an assault and murder.

“It's unfortunate,” Chan, the vape shop owner, told the station, adding that at least once a month, along the road, “I see people jumping and shouting at each other. People want to diffuse things a little bit. You have to learn not to accept things,” he added. It's very personal. ”
