Liam Payne's grieving girlfriend Kate Cassidy has spoken out more about Liam Payne's decision to leave Argentina days before his sudden death, telling friends he gave her an ultimatum to stop using drugs. I'm talking to the people.

“She thought she was in tough love,” the friend continued.

Cassidy previously told friends that being with the singer was a “hostage situation” as she continued to extend her vacation in Argentina.

They had originally planned to spend four days in the country, but the trip lasted more than two weeks before Cassidy finally departed.

“She had to go,” her friend says.

“It became very unhealthy for everyone. She wanted him to follow her back to Miami.”

Cassidy shared additional background with a friend after watching a media interview with the suspected drug trafficker being investigated in Payne's Oct. 16 death.

In an interview, Brian Nahuel Paiz denied any wrongdoing.

Paiz, 24, admitted he met the Story of My Life singer, 31, twice at a hotel, but insisted he did not sell drugs to the former One Direction singer. .

“We took drugs together, but I never gave him drugs or accepted money from him,” Paiz said. Local news agency Telefe Noticias Saturday.

“The second hotel meeting was on Sunday night, October 13th,” Pais continued.

“We spent the night together and took drugs, because the truth is something intimate happened.”

Sources said the bombshell made Cassidy so furious that he told colleagues that Paiz was a liar and could not be trusted.

A police report said Payne had a toxic mixture in her system at the time of her death, including crack and so-called “pink cocaine,” a mixture of ketamine and other drugs.

Authorities said the suspect spent his final hours with two prostitutes, who also drank together and argued about payment before leaving.

Paiz was reportedly fired from his job as a result of an ongoing criminal investigation. He is the second person officially linked to the singer's death.

Local police also named Payne's close friend Rogelio “Roger” Nores as one of three people being investigated.
