Simpson, 51, was last seen alive Oct. 6 at her Olmos Park home, but in August her husband, Brad Simpson, physically assaulted her and stole her cell phone. He told the bank employee that he would take his phone away.

The warrant stems from investigators' evidence that Brad was seen on camera heading to a dumpster carrying trash bags, bulky items under tarps and other supplies the day after his wife was last seen. It sheds light on evidence implicating Brad in Suzanne's presumed death.
