On Monday, June 17, 2024, Alexis Nungarai received the kind of news that would shake any loving parent to the core. Her daughter, Jocelyn Nungarai, was killed and thrown into a cove below the stream.
Jocelyn was just 12 years old when she walked to the corner store to buy a soda, where she encountered illegal Venezuelan immigrants Johan Jose Martínez Rangel, 22, and Franklin Pena Ramos, 26. was taken to and killed.
Border Patrol arrested Johan Martinez near El Paso on March 14, but he was quickly released the same day on a recognizance order with a notice to appear. Franklin Pena was also arrested on May 28, but was released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
Less than three weeks later, they took Jocelyn's life.

After the two murdered Jocelyn in cold blood, one of the immigrants tried to change his appearance to be less noticeable.
“He had a beard and I was watching the news with a still image and he shaved his face completely and cleaned it up. So I thought I'd patch up my mistake with a Band-Aid, but it doesn't work. They were caught within days of doing what they did to her,” Nungarai explains.
Liberals keep insisting that illegal aliens deserve to be here, but Mr. Stein doesn't really understand that this can and will negatively impact them. That's what I think.
