The WNBA draft lottery is scheduled for 5 p.m. ET and will be broadcast exclusively on ESPN for 30 minutes, live from the media company's Bristol studio. The lottery teams, in descending order of odds for the No. 1 pick, are the Los Angeles Sparks, Dallas Wings, Chicago Sky, and Washington Mystics. This ranking is based on each team's cumulative performance over the past two seasons. The Sparks, Wings, Sky, and Mystics have the four worst cumulative records;
The Sparks have an overall record of 22 wins and 55 losses and have the highest odds of being the No. 1 pick (44.2%). The Wings and Sky each have 31 wins and 49 losses, giving them a 22.7% chance of taking first place, while the Mystics have 33 wins and 47 losses, giving them a 10.4% chance of taking first place. The Wings are also trading picks with the Sky, so if the Mystics make the deal, they could get the No. 1 pick.
Each WNBA team will be represented by one of its young star players. Angel Reese will represent the Sky, Maddie Siegrist will represent the Wings, Rikea Jackson will represent the Sparks and Aaliyah Edwards will represent the Mystics.
