President-elect Donald Trump on Monday nominated Sean Duffy, a former Republican congressman from Wisconsin, to be secretary of transportation.
If confirmed, Duffy, who served as a congressman from 2011 to 2019 and is currently a Fox Business host, would be a candidate for Pete Buttigieg, the former South Bend, Indiana, mayor and 2019 Democratic presidential candidate. He will be his successor.
