Giants look just as awful with Tommy DeVito in humiliating loss

Six more games?

Oybey.

Everyone involved in this complete and embarrassing mess might as well pack up and go home.

What the Giants are putting out on the field isn't doing anyone any good, and this tilt makes it impossible for the front office and coaching staff to argue that they're eligible to come back for another try in 2025. It's getting more and more difficult. .

The easy throwaway line at this point is, “I guess it wasn't all Daniel Jones' fault.”

Anyone who watched the Giants stumble through their first 10 games knew that to be true.

Now, Jones was sitting on the bench, waived and looking for a new team.

Tommy DeVito was brought in at quarterback, but the entire operation on both sides of the ball was inadequate.

At the end of Sunday's 30-7 loss to the Buccaneers, there were rows of empty gray seats and no worries about traffic as they exited MetLife Stadium.

DeVito didn't provoke anything, and the Giants didn't stop anyone.

They were a poor team in every aspect.

Bucs quarterback Baker Mayfield might have been better off throwing from a rocking chair.

He was having so much fun that he even imitated DeVito's Italian hand gesture celebration from last season after diving into the end zone to make it 23-0 late in the first half. ah.

The Giants (2-9) are currently on a six-game losing streak and are 0-1 in the era under coach Daniel Jones.

The Buccaneers (5-6) have lost four straight, but the Giants are the most comfortable team in the NFL.

They are healers who heal anything that ails others.

DeVito, who had been shaken up all day, was forced to leave the game with five minutes left on two plays, but was able to finish it off.

DeVito's numbers (21 of 31 for 189 yards) weren't indicative of how much he struggled.

He was sacked four times and the offensive line barely functioned.

This was never competitive.

After trailing 30-0 late in the third quarter, the Giants clinched the win early in the fourth as DeVito ran for 17 yards and Devin Singletary scored from a yard out.

Long live it.

The Giants haven't led in a game since Week 5 in Seattle.

That was October 6th.

Thanksgiving is coming soon.

It takes a long time to keep up.
