The reality is that our skies are not as safe as they once were. In the last year alone, the number of “near misses” in which planes narrowly avoided collisions has soared to three a week.

There are many factors contributing to this decline, but one issue stands out. The Federal Aviation Administration has introduced DEI into its hiring system.

Current air traffic controllers are “overworked” as nearly all control towers in the country are severely “understaffed” due to DEI policies that unfairly exclude qualified air traffic controller applicants. Stu explains that there is.
Moreover, these policies specifically “prevent white men from getting these jobs,” he told Glenn.
Flying a plane is “a matter of life and death,” Glenn says. “This DEI stuff…it's death! It should be [spelled] Die. ”

“In the documentary, we talked to a guy who took a merit-based test to become an air traffic controller and got a 100, a perfect score. Then they added another test called a background test.” says Stu.
“There were some really weird questions, like, 'Did you do well in science in high school?' And, 'If you say, 'Yes, I did well in science in high school,' you'll be punished. ” he explains. “to” [the FAA]If you do well in science in high school, you are less likely to be in the minority, so you are penalized for doing well in subjects that are clearly related to what you are doing. ”
A man who got a perfect score on a meritocratic test ended up not getting the job, probably because the background test revealed he was a white man.
“now [he’s] I'm going to sue the government over it,” Stu says.
