Is the end of America just a few years away?
According to one Amazon Alexa device, the collapse of the United States will happen within 10 years.
A content creator named Lucy Blake sent shockwaves across TikTok after sharing a video of her making a virtual assistant. A disturbing prophecy.
“On February 20, 2031, the United States of America will cease to exist,” the device claims. cliphas been viewed more than 2 million times since it was posted earlier this month.
“This day marks the culmination of a unification process between the various governments that was not approved by the majority of the people.”
Blake insisted That creepy answer only happened once, and the devices in her home no longer gave the same answers to the prompts. Instead, her “brand new Alexa” just responds with “I don't know about this.”
Skeptics argued that Alexa's answers were likely pre-programmed, but others were quick to joke.
“That's it! No more student loans,” one person joked.
Other weary citizens, perhaps disappointed with the results of the recent presidential election, said that day can't come soon enough.
“It's like celebrating my future self,” said one cheekily.
“Okay, but why do we have to wait so long? Can we speed up the process?” another user commented.
Meanwhile, a burnt-out TikTokker said he can't handle any more bad news.
“Miss, please let us get through 2025 first,” they begged.
Earlier this year, Amazon came under fire from the Donald Trump campaign for making its Alexa home devices appear to offer pro-Kamala Harris answers.
At the time, the tech giant told the Post it was the result of an “error.”
“This was a mistake that was quickly corrected,” an Amazon spokesperson said.
