Does anyone else love the Kansas Jayhawks?
The nation's No. 1 men's college basketball team is trailing No. 11 Duke by 2.5 points on a neutral court Tuesday night.
Both teams will need to give their all for the high-profile match in Las Vegas.
KenPom, the leading college basketball analysis site, rates Duke as a 4-point favorite in this neutral-court matchup.
Duke University is ranked 4th and the University of Kansas is ranked 9th.
However, it may be wise to go against the grain for this game, as money starts to flow into Kansas State as game time approaches.
Duke vs. Kansas State odds
| team | spread | money line | total |
|---|---|---|---|
| duke | -2.5 (-110) | -150 | 149.5 or higher (-110) |
| Kansas | +2.5 (-110) | +125 | Less than 149.5 (-110) |
Duke vs. Kansas predictions
We all know Cooper Flagg will be a key piece of the offensive puzzle for Duke, as he was the clear favorite for the Wood Award early on.
Flagg put together an impressive game with 24 points, six rebounds and three assists in a dominant 14-point win over No. 22 Arizona last Friday.
He is largely considered one of the best college basketball players in the country and is expected to be one of the first, if not the number one, selection in the 2025 NBA Draft.
What makes things a little precarious for the Blue Devils is their low squad size, with only center Carman Maruaha getting playing time at the moment.
Hunter Dickinson, a 24-year-old big man from the University of Kansas, continues to lead the Jayhawks as a dominant force on the glass and on defense.
His rim protection is crucial to Kansas' game plan. He is averaging 1.8 blocks per game and has a double-double on top of that.

With strong guard play led by Dickinson and featuring Zeke Mayo and AJ Storr, Kansas is very active to pull off an upset on a neutral court.
Even if the rankings say otherwise, the odds say this will be an upset, but let's bet on the Kansas money line.
If the Jayhawks can stay out of foul trouble, they should be a more complete team Tuesday night.
