Samuel L. Jackson says ‘it’s not’ an honor to receive Oscar nomination:’It’s an honor to win’

Samuel L. Jackson is looking at the Academy Awards in a new light.

Jackson, 75, didn't mince words about his thoughts on the coveted gong, saying the Oscar nomination doesn't mean much to him.

Jackson believed he would have won an Oscar for his role in Joel Schumacher's A Time to Kill if it had not been cut from the final version.

The Star Wars actor also told Vulture that winning the 2021 Oscars “didn't feel like an honor,” but rather “felt like I won an Oscar.”
