Democrats are scolding Americans for celebrating Thanksgiving, saying they should thank illegal aliens who work on American farms for picking up food.
“To everyone at the dinner table today, especially the MAGAs, please thank the undocumented immigrants who chose and packed the food you enjoy. They deserve our blessings.” Julián Castro I wrote At X. “Happy Thanksgiving!”
Meanwhile, Sen. Ben Ray Luján (D-New Mexico) made similar remarks. write:
Please join me in thanking those who harvested the food on our Thanksgiving table this year. Our meals would not be possible without the tireless work of migrant farmworkers, farmers, and ranchers. All over the country. Thanksgiving wouldn't be the same without them. [Emphasis added]
Congressman Robert Garcia (D-Calif.) also I wrote on X, “This Thanksgiving, remember that many of the people who choose our food, work at our favorite restaurants, and clean our hotel rooms are undocumented immigrants.”
Democrats as well as many Republicans, with the support of big business and corporate donors, have long called for amnesty for illegal aliens who work on American farms.
Experts say it's not about amnesty; claimed The federal government should encourage American farms to use labor-saving machines to harvest fresh fruits and vegetables.
