Hill was injured on a fourth-down play in the fourth quarter. With less than five minutes remaining and the Saints facing a 4-on-1 situation, Hill ran to the left end and was sandwiched between two defenders. From this replay, it appeared that Hill had put the helmet on his knee.

Hill was dragged off the field to enthusiastic applause from local Saints fans.
The team quickly provided an update and listed the player as questionable for return.
Before leaving the game, Hill had five carries for 10 yards. He also caught five passes for 37 yards, leading all Saints players in the contest. On the season, Hill leads New Orleans with six rushing touchdowns, tied with Alvin Kamara.
