The Jacksonville Jaguars may have come up short against the Houston Texans on Sunday, but their players certainly pulled together after a huge hit that knocked out quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
Lawrence was hit around the head and neck by Texans linebacker Azeez Al Shaair, resulting in a concussion. Lawrence was sliding during a scramble and Al Shair broke free and beat Lawrence.
The tackle caused a brief commotion that ended with Al Shail and Jaguars cornerback Jarrian Jones being ejected from the game. Jaguars tight end Evan Engram also received a penalty for unnecessary roughness.

Engram called Al Shayer's batted ball “dirty” and felt he had to defend Lawrence in that moment.
