Kash Patel Is the Right Remedy to ‘Fix’ FBI, Says Retired FBI Leader

A former FBI supervisor praised President-elect Donald Trump's choice of Kash Patel to lead the FBI once he takes office, calling Patel “the right solution.”

“This guy is completely and 100% qualified to run that organization. He's what we need today. He's the right solution,” Danik told Solomon.

In fact, Mr. Patel has a strong resume. He led the White House's counterterrorism efforts during President Trump's first term, serving as senior adviser to the Director of National Intelligence, chief of staff at the Department of Defense, and chief counsel for the House Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI). Patel also served as a prosecutor and public defender.

Danik noted that Patel enjoys a high level of support among many agents, and emphasized that Patel's extensive and extensive experience makes him well-positioned to lead the agency.

“He's been around for about 30 years, so I think he's got the right balance,” Danik said of Patel. “He strikes the right balance as a prosecutor, and that's our job. During an appearance on the Sean Ryan Show in September, Patel outlined the sweeping changes he wants to see at the agency.

“The FBI's influence has grown out of proportion, and the biggest problems they've had have come from the intel shop. I'm going to take that element out of there,” he said.

“I would shut down the FBI Hoover Building on the first day and reopen it as a deep state museum the next day,” he added. “And I'm going to take the 7,000 people who work in that building and send them across America to track down criminals.”
