Surveillance photos from outside the Midtown hotel where the United Healthcare CEO was shot and killed show the moment a masked assailant pulled out a gun to kill his target.
Images provided to the Post by law enforcement officials show a yet-to-be-identified suspect holding a long handgun and attacking Brian outside the Hilton Hotel on 54th Street and Sixth Avenue on Wednesday morning. The footage shows him firing at Thompson, 50.
Police said the suspect fired several shots from a distance, then jumped on a bicycle and fled through an alley in Ziegfeld.

The suspect was seen wearing a cream-colored jacket, a black face mask, and black and white sneakers. He was also carrying a gray backpack.
Officials said no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
NYPD Crime Stoppers has offered a $10,000 reward for information regarding Thompson's murder.
Police and company officials said Thompson, who has been CEO of UnitedHealth insurance since 2021, arrived at the hotel early in the morning at around 6:45 a.m. ahead of an Investor Day conference. was.
Paramedics quickly arrived at the scene and attempted emergency CPR on Thompson, who was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital.
Police said Thompson was pronounced dead later that morning.
Thompson has worked for UnitedHealth for the past 20 years and was based in Minnetonka, Minnesota, according to his LinkedIn account.
