A Russian national and legal resident of the United States was taken into FBI custody today at JFK International Airport after stowing away on a Delta flight bound for Paris last month, according to the FBI.
Svetlana Dali, 57, boarded Delta Air Lines Flight 264 to Paris without a boarding pass and managed to avoid a TSA screening point on November 26, without having valid travel documents required to enter France. It became national news.
“TSA can verify that an individual without a boarding pass completes security screening (including carry-on and baggage) without any prohibited items. evaded identity and boarding status checks and boarded the aircraft,” the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) said. a spokesperson told Fox News Digital.
