Ahead of an unusually contentious NFC North game, tempers flared in Detroit from the start.
Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur and Detroit Lions fans were separated on the field before Thursday night's matchup.
The incident apparently occurred just before the national anthem, when Lions fans were on the field holding game flags.

But apparently, the fan wearing a Brian Branch jersey took it a little too far, to the point where LaFleur told him to “shut up.”
Several Packers players and referees intervened before the fans left, excited about what had just happened.
Fans carrying flags took out their cellphones and recorded the discussion.
And once the game actually started, it wasn't the ideal start for the Packers.
A defensive penalty on third-and-goal gave the Lions another down, and David Montgomery scored on the first drive of the game. After Detroit went up 10-0, the Packers took the lead in the second quarter with a Josh Jacobs touchdown.
The Lions went into the locker room leading 17-7, but the Packers scored touchdowns on consecutive drives and took a 21-17 lead thanks to a costly Jared Goff interception.

The Lions and Packers are a combined 20-4 this season, ranking first and third in the division, respectively. Detroit is aiming to set a franchise record with 11 consecutive wins.
Both teams earned home wins on Thanksgiving.
