Zach Collins will definitely get a call from the league office.
The Spurs big man flipped the referee on Friday after getting ejected for his second technical foul in just two quarters in a 140-113 loss to the Kings.
Collins was a spot starter for the second year in a row, replacing injured Victor Wembaneyama, who missed San Antonio's last two games with a back injury.
The 6-foot-11 giant was called for a hard foul by Sacramento Kings All-Star Domantas Sabonis with just over nine minutes left in the second quarter, and he protested the call violently, resulting in two technical calls and being ejected. It was sanctioned.
Collins made matters worse by berating officials before heading to the locker room.
A fine will likely be imposed and a suspension may also be considered.
The Gonzaga University alum committed three fouls in nine minutes of play and finished with just two points and two rebounds in the loss.
Collins averaged just over six points and three rebounds per game and came off the bench to replace Wenby when the French phenom was healthy enough to play.
In the loss, the Spurs were led by a 30-point outburst from St. John's University graduate Julien Champagnie.
