Hegseth Is ‘Bruce Willis in The Sixth Sense,’ He Doesn’t Know He’s Dead Yet

Former Bush-Cheney political strategist Matthew Dowd said Friday on MSNBC's “Deadline” that President-elect Donald Trump's nominee for secretary of defense, Pete Hegseth, was the director of a movie he didn't know he was “Sixth”. He said that he resembled actor Bruce Willis' character in “The Sense''. He was dead.

Host Nicole Wallace said, “Among the things President Trump doesn't feel disqualified by are allegations of sexual abuse and sexual assault, and allegations of substance abuse, especially alcohol, he certainly feels uncomfortable.'' “That's one of the things that reporters who cover President Trump have said.”

Dowd said, “One of the few things he said personally was about his brother's alcoholism and all that, and what his views and judgments were on it, and how he felt about all of that. How disturbed he was. It felt less sympathetic and more judgmental, but he definitely has an opinion on it. I'm taking him at his word. But he says he never drinks.”

He added, “I think this is for Pete Hegseth. You know he's Bruce Willis from The Sixth Sense. I think he's dead, but he's still playing it. I don't know. The senators just hope he dies without being sentenced.”
