Charlamagne the God isn't Jason Whitlock's favorite radio host, but his recent appearance on “The View” gave the “Fearless” voice a pleasant surprise.
“I thought this was fascinating and interesting, because he actually had a little bit of common sense when he was on 'The View.' Who put him through this, who gave him the green light?” I wonder who allowed him to be on 'The View' and tell Whoopi Goldberg the logic,'' Whitlock says.
“Much of the conversation about President Biden has been about him being criticized on both sides for pardoning his son Hunter, even though he has repeatedly said he would never do so, with many saying it was hypocritical. , as if the other side hasn't granted a pardon. Try it,'' Joy Behar told Charlamagne and the rest of the panel.
“I think all the criticism is valid, because the Democratic Party has always stood on this moral high ground and acted very self-righteously. The reality is that the Democratic Party is acting very self-righteously when it comes to whether or not my son wants a pardon. There was no need to say anything,” replied M. Charlamagne. “He could have said, 'Hey, hey, I'm not focused on that right now.'
“But they called Trump a threat to democracy and said no one is above the law, so that was their point,” he continued.
“He didn't have to volunteer that lie in the first place,” he added, before Whoopi Goldberg jumped at the opportunity.
“My question is, why do people have such hatred for Joe?” Goldberg asked.
“The Democrats are at odds with Joe because they believe they don't represent what Joe currently represents. But that's not true. That's why I think they exist. “I'm on the moral high ground not to do that,” Charlamagne replied.
While Whitlock and Shemeka Michel agree with Charlamagne's statements, they do not believe the exchange was natural.
“If he was really an adversary, and he was actually there, and he was saying things that were completely different and shocking to them, things that they didn't agree with, especially about Joy, they would be a little more hostile towards him. '' Michelle tells Whitlock. “So I think this was all planned and it didn’t feel real at all.”
