The nationwide manhunt for the gunman suspected of killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson entered its fifth day Sunday.
Late Saturday night, police released an updated photo of the suspect, who appears to be a man in the back seat of a taxi. Police also recovered a backpack believed to be associated with the suspect, which contained a jacket and Monopoly money, but no gun. Police believe the gunman fled New York City by bus shortly after the shooting.
An NYPD dive team also trawled a Central Park pond Saturday near where the backpack was found.
The divers were seen behind an area cordoned off with police tape next to Bethesda Fountain in a body of water known as the Lake near the park's boathouse.

The NYPD first announced a $10,000 reward for information leading to the suspect's arrest and conviction. The FBI announced late Friday that it was offering up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
On the day of the shooting, investigators already knew that the assassin had fled through Central Park, arriving about four minutes after he shot and killed Thompson. At 6:56 a.m., he exited the park again at 77th Street on the Upper West Side, according to a detailed timeline provided by Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenney at a news conference Friday.

Two minutes later, he was found again on 86th Street, still on his bicycle. At 7:04 a.m., the man was seen walking into a taxi.

Police believe he is no longer in New York City, based on footage showing a taxi dropping him off at a Port Authority bus stop, but detectives have been unable to find footage of him leaving again. The station serves routes to New Jersey, north to Boston, and south to Philadelphia and Washington, DC.

Former FBI agent Scott Duffy told Fox News Digital that the backpack was taken to a lab in Queens for forensic testing, where trace evidence will be processed.
”[It’s] Hair and fiber processing [and] “DNA,” Duffy explained Saturday. “If he puts his hand on the strap and buckles it, like most of us do, we'll most likely find DNA there.” That and the zipper. ”
