All eyes are on Bill Belichick.
The 72-year-old free agent NFL coach has been involved in multiple appointments to fill the vacant head coaching position at the University of North Carolina, including a five-hour meeting with UNC executives on Sunday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. It is said that he was interviewed twice.
“He's definitely considering it, and there are other candidates who are pulling out of the North Carolina race…It's ongoing,” Schefter said during an appearance on Monday's “The Pat McAfee Show.” told.

Belichick, who appeared on the show after Schefter, confirmed that he met with the Tar Heels.
“I had a chance to talk to the prime minister.” [Lee] Roberts and we have had a few good conversations, so we'll see how it goes.” Belichick said.
When McAfee asked if the meeting lasted five hours, he was modest.
“Yeah, listen, I'll leave it at that. I don't want to give away too much information,” Belichick said with a smile. “I want to regain the trust we had at press conferences.”
Belichick, who has held various broadcast jobs since parting ways with the Patriots in January, is expected to announce his decision soon, The Athletic reported. Reported by Diana Russini on monday.
Belichick has made it clear he wants to become a coach in 2025.
The eight-time Super Bowl champion reported that he is “very surprised” that he has not yet been contacted by an NFL team about coaching next season. Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.
Belichick has reportedly not been contacted by the Jets, Saints or Bears, who have already fired their head coaches this season.
He interviewed for the Falcons' job last offseason and was ultimately hired by Raheem Morris.

On Monday, Belichick's 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, joined the chat.
Hudson responded to someone saying, “Tell Bill to come to UNC!!” in the comments to her latest Instagram post, which featured a snapshot of the couple's holiday.
“I'm leaving you with a message…😉🩵,” Hudson wrote, along with a winking face emoji and a blue heart emoji.
Belichick's interview with the Tar Heels is his first known meeting at the collegiate level since parting ways with the Patriots.
The news came hours after he and Hudson made their first red carpet appearance at the Museum Gala in New York City last Thursday.

This also came as a surprise to many, as it was initially thought that his coaching future would be in the NFL or in bankruptcy.
The ESPN personality has a history with UNC, with his father, Steve Belichick, serving as an assistant coach at Chapel Hill.
During Monday's show, McAfee featured a photo of a young Belichick sitting in the bleachers at UNC.
