Luigi Mangione, suspected UnitedHealthcare CEO killer, pictured in mugshot

A mugshot obtained by FOX News Digital on Tuesday shows Luigi Mangione, the man charged with killing United Healthcare CEO, wearing an orange jumpsuit for the first time.

Mangione, 26, was arrested Monday after an intense five-day nationwide manhunt after Brian Thompson, 50, was shot in the back on the sidewalk outside the Hilton Hotel in New York City before a shareholder meeting. He was arrested at a McDonald's in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

Fox News Digital also obtained a New York state arrest warrant on Tuesday that said “Mr. Thompson's cause of death was determined to be a gunshot wound to the torso,” and that Mangione fired “several shots” at Mr. Thompson. “It made him fall.” On the ground. ”

The warrant also revealed details about Mangione's interactions with police shortly before his arrest and what investigators found in the former Ivy Leaguer's belongings.

“I was informed… [the] Defendant presented a forged New Jersey driver's license with Mark Rosario's name on it as identification, which, based on the number, was the same as the identification Defendant presented at the hostel, and Defendant was discovered by Patrolman Christy Wasser, Badge #250, among his belongings. “He was in possession of a semi-automatic handgun with a 3D-printed loaded receiver with a metal slide and silencer, as well as a written confession to the crime,” a police detective wrote in the warrant.

According to the warrant, Mangione faces charges including second-degree murder, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument in connection with the murder.

On Monday night, Mangione's family released a statement saying they could not comment on reports or allegations about Mangione but were “devastated.”
