Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.) is such a terrible person that he lost the primary in 70 percent of Democratic districts, and now he's giving a speech called “Dear White People.”
The racist, soon to be known as “Former Congressman Jamaal Bowman” and whose Indian name is “a lie about setting off the fire alarm,” is enraged by the fact that Daniel Penny was acquitted. Regarding his own remarks, he said: think deeply on Xwitter in the most racist, condescending, narcissistic way imaginable – exactly what we've all come to expect from the Toxic Squad.
Dear white people, I don't see why I need to keep talking to you. I don't know why a part of me still has hope for you and us. Some of you have moved far away. But perhaps some of you are not and will join the fight to end white supremacy.
I just want to call out the hypocrisy and evil and just hold onto hope. I'm not going to depend on you completely. Because I know that what matters most is working with my community and other like-minded allies to fight for justice. But I would like to suggest just this.
I'm 48 years old and have seen countless brutal police brutality and murders in my life. The first black man I ever saw violently attacked on camera was Rodney King. Those officers were acquitted.
At this point, Bowman earned a community note because two of the four officers in the Rodney King case were actually convicted.
Bowman continues: George Floyd's name does not address the universal revulsion for his murder across all races, or the fact that the officer in question was convicted and sent to prison.
Nowhere does Bowman mention the horrific prevalence of black-on-black violence that accounts for most black murders.
Nowhere does Bowman mention that non-whites helped Penny capture Jordan Neely, and that black people thanked Penny for protecting them from Neely.
This preening narcissist then says all sorts of things about himself. “I’ve missed this trauma probably 100 more times in my life.”
And just days after we all watched the assassination of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson (a white man), he asked a stupid question. What's your newsfeed? ”
“I wish I didn't have to live with this trauma deep in my bones,” he added. It's like a real pussy. “I wish I could be free to be myself.”
And he concluded: “Rest in peace, Jordan Neely. The justice system failed you. Kyle Rittenhouse and Daniel Penny are free. You are gone. We still have to fight.”
Well, Bowman will soon have to fight outside the House and deal with precious trauma, as he was voted out of office by his fellow Democrats by a 59-41 percent margin.
Perhaps he will hide from reality and return to academia.
