Megyn Kelly blasts accused CEO shooter Luigi Mangione’s fan club as ‘a–holes’ and ‘cretins’

Megyn Kelly on Tuesday slammed those praising United Healthcare CEO shooting suspect Luigi Mangione as “idiots” and “cretins,” calling out those cheering for the Ivy League suspect as “this nonsense. I am really against it,” he said.

The podcast host took Mangione, 26, the spoiled lefties on a mission the day after he was arrested and later charged in the high-profile murder case of health insurance executive Brian Thompson.

“Can I just say I'm done with this nonsense? This guy is no hero at all,” Kelly said on Tuesday's show. “We shouldn't be praising his good looks on the internet, but they don't exist in reality.”

“These people are really sick,” she said in her opening monologue on “The Megyn Kelly Show.”

Mangione was found at a McDonald's in Pennsylvania and arrested by authorities after the midtown Manhattan shooting sparked a days-long manhunt. He is being held in the Keystone State as he fights extradition to New York.

But others shamelessly praised Mangione, donating thousands of dollars to an online fundraiser for his legal defense.

Users on X, TikTok, and other online platforms have also taken note of Mangione's appearance, and there was even a lookalike contest for the murder suspect in the Big Apple the weekend before Mangione's arrest.

“This reaction to the murder of this insurance company CEO is very upsetting, and the hyping of the murder suspect is pretty widespread on the left,” the former Fox News host said.

She noted comments from former Washington Post reporter Taylor Lorenz, who said she felt “joy” after Thompson's murder, and Bulwark's Tim Miller, who commented on the suspected killer's six-pack abs. did.

“This man, Brian Thompson, has two boys…and their father was murdered three weeks before Christmas. And these bastards want to sleep with the murderer, how attractive is he?” “He's talking about how he's a hero for taking down the CEO of a company in an unpopular industry,” Kelly said. “…talking about his abs sucks, you disgusting cretins.”

Police are investigating whether a back injury sustained by Mangione in July 2023 triggered the cold-blooded murder charge, police officials said Wednesday.
